Behaviors such as eating and calorie restrictions can lead us to the opposite of our goal and cause us to gain weight. Regular sleep, which is also effective in the functioning of our metabolism, is another situation that can lead to weight gain problems. Situations such as sleeping late and waking up late during the day both slow down the metabolism and cause irregular nutrition. People who sleep late at night also tend to overeat as they sit idle, which then leads to weight gain. Leptin and ghrelin hormones secreted in our body become unbalanced when we sleep less and irregularly. While the level of leptin hormone decreases, there is an increase in the ghrelin hormone. This situation negatively affects appetite management.

These factors, which we consider to be the main factors responsible for weight gain, will begin to decrease or even disappear with a healthy diet, physical activities during the day and a quality sleep habit.
