Wisdom teeth can be extracted at any age. Pain, swelling and bleeding that may occur after wisdom tooth extraction vary depending on the degree of impaction of the tooth. Wisdom teeth that are properly positioned and where hygiene can be easily maintained do not need to be extracted.
