Who really dies slowly? Let's listen to the following lines of Pablo Neruda that I love so much:
They die slowly
Those who do not travel
They die slowly
Those who do not read , those who do not listen to music,
Those who cannot harbor tolerance in their consciences.
Die slowly
Those who are captive to their habits,
Those who walk the same roads every day,
Those who do not broaden and change their horizons,
Those who do not even risk changing the color of their clothes,
Those who do not talk to a stranger.
They die slowly
Those who avoid excitement,
See the twinkle in the eyes of broken hearts being mended
those who avoid wanting.
They die slowly
Those who are miserable in love or work and do not change direction,
Those who do not take risks to fulfill their dreams
Once in a lifetime even those who do not go beyond reasonable advice
.
. Those who think that their life is too monotonous, those who have encountered a painful and shocking event, or those who have problems in their relationships... We all face different pains, troubles and problems in our own life adventure. This is actually the most natural situation that should happen. We always want to stay away from pain. , we always search for the formulas of happiness; but what will really transform and mature us is the painful events that happen to us in our lives. As long as we accept our pain, try to understand why it came into our lives, and embrace our pain. They will leave and go. Here, as we struggle with these unwanted but inevitable pains in our lives, I think that the lines of the poem above can guide us and illuminate our lives when we least expect it. Cultivating, taking risks, reading, listening to music, traveling, maybe sometimes deviating from logical advice....Isn't it exciting? Although it may seem like small, ordinary things to some of us, sometimes small changes can bring unexpected beauties in our lives. From making changes to new places. Let's not be afraid to go and have new experiences. Maybe a small change we attempt will make it easier to cope with the painful events mentioned. Or it will enable us to break the cycles that seem to be troublesome in our lives. and many more... Everyone can diversify and multiply them in their own way. Moreover, with this new step we have added to our lives, we can broaden our perspective and cope with the situations we complain about more easily. We can increase our awareness of ourselves. Hoping to be open to innovation and changes. How about reading Pablo Neruda's lines again now?   ; Expert Psychological Counselor
