Solution Oriented Approach

As a society, we generally tend to focus on problems. We are dealing with so many problems that sometimes we cannot even see the solutions right under our noses. Because the problem is deeply ingrained in our bones and our belief that there is no one else who has this problem like us is so complete that if someone around us mistakenly approaches us like you are not the only one experiencing this problem, woe to them. If the problem is ours, then that problem is too big for all of us. Is the problem present throughout our lives or are there exceptional cases? Or do we carry the problems to the whole of life.

Do we miss anything while dealing with problems? Can't we actually focus on something we always want? Let's think about what this is. Recommendations, friends, family, etc. What we are really looking for is to solve this problem with a miracle. Someone should come and something will happen, but this problem will be solved miraculously. This is actually what we really want. Solving the problem in an instant. What we miss when dealing with the entire problem is that small changes can have a snowball effect. Let's say the situation we are in is very bad, for example, on a scale of 0-10, let's say our current situation is 3. Which is the worst case point 0. Think about your current situation. Today you will go home, you will do exactly the same things you did. You will eat, watch TV, chat with your family, rest and sleep. While I was asleep, a miracle happened and a fairy came and fixed everything that went wrong. But you don't know that it got better, you don't know that the fairy came and everything got better in the morning. What things would have changed when you woke up in the morning? What would you do? How would the people around you treat you? How do you feel? Would these changes make you happy? What would you do when you had the changes you wanted? How did you notice the miracle? How did the people around us notice the miracle?

Think about the changes in your life that occurred with the miracle. It may not be possible for all of these changes to occur because we said they were a miracle. But are there changes that we can start and implement that will be good for us? There doesn't need to be huge changes, just changing the current 3 degree situation to 3.5 or 4 will be enough. Small changes and big changes with a snowball effect. You don't have to think too much, just make the first small change that comes to your mind. Doing something will be good for you. Miracles start with small changes. And it happens. Maybe the fairy came to you yesterday and you don't know it. Maybe you don't know that the fairy comes and eliminates the problems.

Start with a small step that will help the solution. Taking a big step may seem scary. One small step, then another small step, and another small step. Small steps will make a big step. With each small change, from where you are, that is, from position 3 to 3.5, the next 4.5, the next 5. Each time there will be a move towards the better. Thus, there will actually be a process of change going towards the positive in your life, and your perspective and solution to the problems you experience will differ.

Think about what you do best, your hobby, how do you do it? Don't you ever have a hard time? Doesn't it cause trouble? Don't you sometimes just not want to do it? But you do it because you enjoy it. What they do gets better and you become successful. Actually, not everything is bad, your life consists of the things you do well. Think about something small that you do best and enjoy. Can it help you solve your problems? There is no possibility of you constantly doing bad things and having bad things happen to you. There is a possibility that they will always see this situation like this.

Solution-focused approach helps solve problems in adolescents, adults and couples by focusing on their solutions and positive aspects rather than their problems, by making small changes in their lives and taking big steps in a short period of time, such as 3-4 sessions. .
