Manual therapy means treatment done with hands. It is a method performed using only the hands to correct movement restrictions in the joints and eliminate reversible dysfunctions. It is the application of maneuvers such as applying pressure, stretching, pushing and pulling to the patient's problematic area with the hands, within anatomical limits. First of all, whether the patient is suitable for manual therapy is evaluated by a detailed examination by a physician trained and experienced in manual medicine. It is applied in many structural and non-permanent functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially disc herniations known as lumbar and cervical herniations, waist and neck flattening, myofascial pains known as groin pain, and joint limitations such as frozen shoulder. It is sometimes used alone or sometimes in combination with other treatment methods in cases of sudden waist, neck stiffness, locking, pelvic bone-related problems that cause pain referred to the waist called sacroiliac dysfunction, shoulder impingement syndrome, tendinitis such as tennis elbow, and carpal tunnel syndrome. .
