Mysterious Disease of Men: PROSTATITIS

The prostate gland in men weighs an average of 20 grams. It is an organ that weighs as much as 100 kg and is located in front of the bladder. With puberty, it starts to work with the secretion of Testosterone hormone from the testicles and produces secretion. Its main function is to produce protective fluid for semen and to help retain urine. Prostatitis means inflammation of the prostate gland. Although 80% of men have prostate inflammation at some point in their lives, it is either undiagnosed or ignored.

The main problem with prostatitis is that the complaints it causes are very different and there are very few urologists trained on this subject in the world. The average time a patient is diagnosed with Prostatitis is 1.5 years.

Burning in urine, frequent urination, difficult urination, pelvic pain, testicular pain, yellow and smelly semen, pain in the prostate area during ejaculation, lack of sexual reluctance. It causes many complaints such as the penis shrinking, retracting and being tense, sharp pain in the legs and feet, pain in the penis, erectile dysfunction, and discoloration of the skin of the penis. The real problem here is the diagnosis phase and treatment protocol of a disease that manifests itself with so many different complaints.

Many of the men suffering from this disease are seriously affected psychologically and are in a dead end. Because the disease was either not explained well, was treated incompletely, or was referred to a psychiatrist because they were told there was nothing wrong.

CAUSES OF PROSTATITIS DISEASE

There is no clear information on this subject in the world. However, according to my own patient experience, the most common reasons are; Unprotected sexual intercourse, multiple sexual partners, or exposure to severe stress that the body cannot handle can initiate the process of prostate inflammation. This disease can also start in men who have no history of sexual intercourse or have many sexual partners.

SHOULD WE REALLY ALWAYS LOOK FOR AN AGENT (BACTERIA, FUNGUS, VIRUS) AS THE CAUSE OF PROSTATITIS?

Despite all the examinations performed in prostatitis disease, a microbial agent can be found in only 20% of patients. What is the reason for the other 80% of patients? Although the answer to this question is not fully explained, it is examined under the title of Pelvic Pain Syndrome and the patient's mood, external factors These can be counted as relative inflammation of the prostate caused by exposure to cold and intense stress.
