Toktaş stated that when cheek biting becomes continuous, it can cause damage to the soft tissue in the cheek and wounds that do not close due to infection, and that these wounds can make it difficult to eat or drink.

Blood circulation in the head and neck area is very fast. Cancer spreads very quickly through the lymph nodes and bloodstream. This cancer is also very difficult to treat. Wisdom teeth and all teeth in the mouth should be evaluated with the same care."
