WART TREATMENT

The treatment aims to radically destroy the wart area on the skin. The doctor determines the treatment plan according to the number of lesions of the patient, the affected area and extent, and the age of the patient.

Topical creams and solutions may be preferred first in the treatment of warts. Although very successful results are not always achieved, topical treatments may be preferred first, especially in pediatric patients.

Laser Treatment in Wart Treatment; Warts can be treated very successfully with CO2 Laser

Electrocauterization Method in Wart Treatment; Wart bases can be treated by numbing them with local creams or injections and then burning them. It is the most preferred and very effective treatment method.

 

TREATMENT OF GENITAL REGION WARTS

 All treatment options are also valid for this area. Since Genital Area Warts are generally sexually transmitted; It is classified as a Sexually Transmitted Disease and the patient should be warned in this regard. Having multiple partners and careless sexual life can lead to greater dangers. Stimulating the patient in this aspect is actually the most important part of the treatment. Topical treatments, laser treatment, cauterization method or cryotherapy (freezing method) can be applied. Every patient presenting with Genital Warts should be thoroughly examined for other Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

 

WHAT SHOULD YOU BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT THE RETURN OF WARS?

Since warts are generally transmitted from common areas, it is necessary to pay attention to absolute hygiene in common areas. . Do not walk barefoot in Turkish baths, saunas or gyms without slippers; Not using shared towels and trying not to use public toilets unless necessary are important for protection.  Since wart viruses usually enter our body through an opening, taking good care of the small abrasions on our body and treating these areas as soon as possible. It is necessary to hunt.

Our general health is important because warts cause infection in our body at a time when our body resistance is low. Good sleep, eating healthy, not consuming cigarettes and alcohol, drinking plenty of water, and exercising will make us generally healthy, as well as allowing the wart virus to enter our body easily.
