Genital warts in men While it can be detected more easily and earlier, gynecological examination is often required in women. However, sometimes it can be very difficult to detect in men if it occurs in the urinary tract, while sometimes it can be easily detected in women if it occurs in the visible genital area. They are more likely to cause cancer in women because they are more difficult or late to detect. But there is no rule that contamination will result in cancer. Close monitoring will be sufficient to prevent a bad outcome in any case. Sexually active women should be examined at least once a year for screening purposes to prevent possible infection and follow-up.
It is a treatable disease. But the virus is not cleared from the body even after treatment. For this reason, it may repeat from time to time. Additionally, a person infected with the virus can be contagious for life. Protection can be provided by vaccination. It would be appropriate to administer the vaccine before the first sexual intercourse. However, doing it later will also provide protection, although it may not be as effective. It will also reduce the frequency of new lesions.
