Don't Let February 14 Valentine's Day Be Your Nightmare

Today, February 14, is Valentine's Day, a day when many couples get excited and wait with great curiosity to see what their partner has prepared for them. So, what happened on February 14th that makes lovers take so much action? If we look at the history of February 14th, it is celebrated in memory of February 14th, when a priest named Father Valentine was killed by the state for supporting young people committing adultery. The name Valentine is used in Western civilizations to mean a person whom one likes and a lover. Additionally, February's relationship with love dates back to ancient times. February 14 has become a social event celebrated by many people since American Esther Howland sent the first Valentine's Day card in the 1800s.

Valentine's Day, like other special days, is one of the days when trade booms. There is a significant increase especially in the chocolate and flower sector. Because; Chocolate secretes the hormone of happiness to people, while flowers are a tool that directly sends the message of love to a woman's heart, the message that we value her, the message that we care, the message that you are important to me. Some of the sectors where trade is booming are restaurants and lingerie stores. On this special day, couples prefer to have a private candlelit dinner accompanied by violin and piano, and at the end of the night, they prefer red clothes that emphasize sexuality. That day is declared the day of red. Everywhere is decorated with red, which we call the color of love. Another sector revival occurs in jewelers. Special campaigns are launched for that day because February 14 is a special day when many women receive marriage proposals.

These are, of course, situations that all women wish to experience. Unfortunately, it is an inevitable fact that not being able to experience these situations creates destruction for poor people. At this point, spouses begin to compare each other with other people's spouses, and this day, which we call a special day when we would actually experience happiness, becomes harmful to our relationship. While reading these lines, sir, I feel like I hear you asking why these days should be abolished, and I understand you, but unfortunately, in the modern age, especially with the influence of capitalism, it is almost impossible to remove them because there are many people. Thanks to these dates, he is able to bring bread to his home. Our aim at this point will be to prevent these special dates from affecting our relationship negatively.

On this Valentine's Day, couples should take action to make each other happy. We do not have a purpose to celebrate these days. The aim is for these days to be a tool for couples to remember each other. If you need these days, If you can remember your spouse and make him/her happy without being alone and add color to your life, how happy are you, but some people also need to be directed to an intermediary. It should be one of those tools for us at this time. Instead of celebrating these dates in a huge way, we can buy our spouses and lovers a small gift as much as we can without putting ourselves in a difficult situation, or a letter or a poem from our hearts will be enough to make the other person happy. As our Prophet (pbuh) said, "Exchange gifts so that your love for each other increases." The important thing at this point is to show that you care about that person. The more expensive your gift is, it will not show that your love is great. You don't have to show your love only on special dates. I recommend you show your love whenever you love, miss or remember, but if we can't do this, let these special dates only mediate us. Be the reason for the smile on the face of the person you love.

Stay with love and peace...
