Remember, Every Child is Unique!

Dear parents and their most precious treasures, our dear students;

As you know, we are on the eve of the report card.

I am sharing this article with you because of the process we are in. Every parent wants their children to be successful and to be proud and brag about this success. And this desire imposes great responsibility on our children. Our children grow up as very sensitive, fragile and emotional individuals, besides, it is very difficult to try to analyze them by going down to the inner world of individuals in adolescence. It should not be forgotten that the bond you establish with your child during these difficult times will form the basis of a friendship that will last for many years. The effects of unconditional love and trust in the growth of children as healthy individuals are quite high. Our children, who are our future, deserve it, whether they are successful or not. The children, who are looking forward to the arrival of the semester break, are also uncertain whether they can meet the expectations of their families. This is exactly where you, our esteemed parents, have a great responsibility. You should always make him feel that you love them very much under all circumstances and teach him to trust himself. In addition, no matter how old a person is, he always wants to be appreciated and appreciated for his work. If we look at our daily lives, you, dear mothers, have done various things throughout the day. Likewise, fathers; you are working to make your family and home happy financially and morally, don't a few nice words motivate you and make the day end happily at the end of the day? Of course it does. Likewise, children like you want to be praised and appreciated for their efforts and efforts. You must reward them for their one-term effort, regardless of success or failure. Now, let's set aside the emotional dimension of this period and see how we can be more beneficial to our children in this process;

The child who is used to certain routines such as sleeping during the school period, waking up, studying, can use his time for entertaining and educational activities. We must give it a chance. In case of failure of the report card, the previously promised awards should be postponed rather than canceled, and the child should be positively inculcated in this regard. The condition of the child should be constantly monitored, a planned coordinated action should be taken by communicating with the school psychologist and counselor. Anxiety and threats should never be used to motivate children while preparing them for the second term. Just because your child's grades are low does not mean that it will continue, and it is possible to compensate for low grades. Remember, every child is unique.

Make your child feel your unconditional love and trust at all times!

Happy Holidays!
