CROWN LENGTH EXTENSION OPERATIONS. .

With these techniques, excess gingival tissue is removed, the gingival contour of the front teeth is corrected, the asymmetry between crown lengths is eliminated, the length of the front teeth is increased and symmetry is achieved in the gums. It is essential to obtain informed consent from patients before treatment, to have realistic expectations, to explain that restorative procedures may be required after surgical procedures, and to obtain written approval regarding the cost.
