EXERCISE MORE

WATCH YOUR WEIGHT
More weight (especially in the middle part of your body) worsens the severity of your pain. It can cause pain and strain your back.
CIGARETTE CAUSES BACK PAIN
If you smoke, quit. Smoking prevents the flow of nutrient-containing blood to the discs in the spine. That's why smokers often suffer from back pain.
WHAT POSITION SHOULD YOU SLEEP?
If you have back pain, talk to your doctor about the best sleeping position. Sleeping in the fetal position is sometimes recommended by doctors. Do you want to sleep on your back? Put pillows under your knees and lower back. Lying face down can cause strain, especially on your lower back. If you cannot sleep otherwise, place a pillow under your hips.
WATCH YOUR POSTURE
The best chair to prevent your back pain is one with lumbar support or a flat back. Keep your knees higher than your hips when sitting. Place your feet on a tab if necessary. If you will be standing for a very long time, hold your head up and tuck your belly in. If possible, keep one foot on the tab and switch feet every 15 minutes.
WHEN LIFTING HEAVY STUFF

DO NOT WEAR TIGHT JEANS
Keep your very tight jeans. Wearing very tight clothes prevents bending, sitting and walking and increases lower back pain.
