1. Oral and dental care should be performed regularly. Dental floss should be used, thus preventing bacterial infection.
2. To prevent the aphthous ulcer from growing further, spicy and bitter foods, acidic and sour drinks should be avoided.
3. If you have an extremely painful aphthous ulcer, you can gargle with salt water.
4. Aphtha can also be cleaned with cotton soaked in oxygenated water.

If the aphtha is caused by an infection in the body, antibiotics can be used; otherwise, antibiotics do not contribute to the healing of aphtha.

How do we know if our teeth are decaying?
Tooth decay starts from the tooth enamel and progresses to the dentin (inner layer of the tooth) and then to the tooth root. Although it varies from person to person, it is generally a painful process. It starts with black stains on the upper surface of the teeth and progresses deeper. Sometimes it occurs on the side surface of the teeth. The most obvious sign of tooth decay is that food residues remain between the teeth after eating.
The onset of pain, especially when eating cold and sweet foods, is a sign of tooth decay. If early intervention is made, minimal tooth loss will occur. .
Tooth decay may not always be a visible pit from the outside, sometimes it progresses secretly towards the inner surface of the tooth, and the tooth may break in any food (hard or soft) consumed by the patient. In order to detect hidden and painless tooth decay, a dentist should be checked every 6 months.
