Overeating (obesity)and Not eating (anorexia) 'Healthy Eating Obsession', that is, Orthorexia, which is a different problem; It is a diet consumption in which attention is paid to the quality of the food eaten, its sugar, fat and salt content, whether it is low in energy, does not contain additives, and consists of organic and fresh foods rich in vitamins. One-sided nutrition can lead to situations such as excessive dependence on healthy foods.

Consistently eating healthy food and making sure that what you eat is fresh and unprocessed, consuming raw vegetables and fruits and obsessing over them can lead to an eating disorder after a certain period of time. This situation disrupts the psychological balance in individuals, who are no different from individuals who are on a diet, and if this situation increases further, it may lead to more serious disorders.

Perceptions such as how fit we look, which we see on social media accounts today, prioritize shape and direct us towards a one-way diet. And if we continue to eat one-sidedly with these perceptions, we may become obsessed with our nutrition and as a result, we may experience eating disorders. For this reason, we should eat balanced and consciously without obsessing.

Nutrition, which has a wide area in life, He is with us at every hour and every moment of the day. For this reason, thinking about how much fat, energy and vitamins we have consumed during the day and constantly preoccupying ourselves with these thoughts can affect our mental health. And these thoughts can slowly isolate us from social environments. It can separate us from our circle of friends. Eating is not a reason for a person to isolate himself from society and punish himself. That's why we must remember that obsession with eating healthy is not healthy.
