What is your relationship with sports? What is your motivation for sports? Sometimes, when we wake up in the morning, it is so difficult that we always wait for our motivation to go to the gym. Sometimes motivation is that voice that whispers “you can try”. Sometimes we can take action without waiting for motivation to come. When we take action, we will already get the motivation. We create the motivation, as long as we get started. Therefore, how about tying your laces and heading out the door?
It is a scientifically proven fact that doing sports consistently and for a long time has positive effects on human psychology. Since we are physically in motion when we do sports, we take our attention away from the stress and intensity of the day and focus on our body. Since every part of our body moves with the command of our brain, our brain actually starts working before our body. The functional functioning of our brain also prevents the development of some psychological disorders. Studies conducted on people who make regular exercise a philosophy of life show that, compared to those who do not do sports; Promotion rates are higher, stress levels are lower, anger management is higher; They seem to live a better quality of life. Sports neutralizes stress hormones that harm us and reduce our ability to think functionally. Sports also increases the creativity hormone and activates the endorphin hormone in our body, making us feel happier and more energetic. Since we are physically active when we do sports, it allows us to take our attention away from the intensity of the day and focus on our body. For this reason, exercising reduces stress.
When we are stressed, we feel tense and angry. Experiencing this situation too much will seriously reduce our quality of life. Exercising affects the cortisol hormone responsible for stress production in the body and reduces its release. As we mentioned above, the body of a person who exercises regularly produces hormones that help cope with stress, such as endorphins, melatonin and dopamine; The individual who does sports is competent in the face of difficulties. It produces high levels of stress and, with the influence of mental sports, has positive effects that will improve the ability to cope with this stress. A mind that thinks more clearly produces reasonable solutions to stressful situations. Exercising also brings good sleep. Imagine yourself. You took an hour's walk and returned home, how did you sleep that night? During sports, our muscles and joints wear out and we get tired. The best thing to relieve this intensity is a deep sleep.
Doing sports improves self-confidence. Every person desires his or her body to be in the best possible state. Everyone in the general population wants to look healthy, vigorous and good. Sports is one of the biggest sources of this. The individual who heals with sports feels stronger and better both spiritually and physically. This, of course, is reflected in self-confidence. Finally, the risk of depression is reduced in people who exercise. Sports increases endorphin, melatonin and dopamine hormones, known as happiness hormones, in the brain. This enables people to develop and maintain positive moods. In other words, sports act as a kind of natural antidepressant. Sports has a function that will benefit our body and mind at the maximum level. This is a situation that reveals the importance of sports.
