The meaning of the Phoenix (Simurgh), which is generally considered in fairy tales, movies and songs, is a bird symbolized as the rebirth, existence and resurrection of an era. The basis of the story of this bird is that everyone who is patient and works hard will one day create their own Simurg and their own Phoenix.
Rumors have been going around for centuries that this bird, which is said to be very long-lived, cannot be seen by everyone, and that those who see it can reach the highest level of happiness.
Of course, the reason why such a legendary bird is talked about so much is of course. It is said not because it is something legendary, but because it reflects reality. Almost all the birds migrated and lost their passions in the seven valleys whose names are Love, Taste, Ignorance, Disbelief, Gossip, Loneliness and Me respectively. Only the Phoenix can live on Mount Kaf with all its patience and efforts.
In the busy pace of life, we, as humans, often fail to benefit from the beautiful blessings offered to us. Because while we are struggling with the constant need to get somewhere, the desire to keep things on track, and the ambition to earn more, we cannot be aware of most of the emotions and events that occur in the "moment". And when a moment comes, instead of improving ourselves, exploring new places, meeting new people, reading a book or a few lines of poetry, or watching a good movie, we feel like we are constantly living in a swamp, perhaps in a cage.
In fact, this is the right moment to break our shells and change. What we need is a little show of courage, perhaps a helping hand extended to us. As it is said in a book I read, "You must be ready to burn yourself in your own flame, how can you be new without becoming ashes first?"
After being patient and working hard in the face of the negativities experienced, why shouldn't we rise from our ashes like a Phoenix? When we think about it, our elders always say that everything is for people. I learned this from the people I have experienced or witnessed since the first day I was in this profession, who were able to convey to me the many situations in their lives in the most transparent way. These people then rose from their own ashes over time and became a Phoenix. They fluttered away to live their lives. And what I learned from here was this; ''Sometimes it is necessary to disappear in order to exist again.''
Just as this legendary story of the Phoenix, who gave up on waiting and everything and rose from the ashes again, is the inspiration of my life. I hope it will be a source of inspiration for you too.
