CARBON PEELING WITH LASER

It is a special skin renewal process in which the effect of Q-switched Nd yag laser is strengthened with a carbon mask. Carbon peeling process involves applying a special carbon mask to the entire face and blasting the carbon (black color) absorbed by the skin and oil pores with a Q-switched Nd yag laser that is sensitive to pigment. Laser light is absorbed by the carbon covering the skin surface and penetrated into the oil pores, causing heat and sound waves to appear on the skin surface. While the resulting heat stimulates the production of new collagen in the skin, heat and sound waves are absorbed by the intracellular pigment clusters (melanosomes) in the epidermis and cause them to break down. In the oil pores, oil secretion decreases and the pores narrow. In this way, acne is reduced. The heat released also reduces the number of bacteria on the skin. While a bright and firm skin appearance is achieved on the day of the procedure, the tone of the spots begins to lighten after 2-3 days.
Sunspots, post-procedural blemishes, pregnancy mask, acne and enlarged pores, and photoaging can be corrected with carbon peeling.
The procedure can only be performed by a physician. It can be applied to all skin types, dry, sensitive, oily, dark, light and tan skin. An average of 6-10 sessions are performed at 7-10 days intervals. The process takes approximately 10-15 minutes. It lasts and is painless. The person only feels mild hot stings on the face. There will be a short-term redness after the procedure. Redness is also soothed by applying a soothing mask. Sunscreen cream is applied and the process is completed. It can be applied safely on sunny days and in summer months.

Mechanism of action in Q-switched laser:
Very high laser energy is sent to the skin surface in nanosecond pulse duration.
The energy reaching the skin surface It is absorbed by the pigments (coloring substances) in the skin.
During the laser carbon peeling process, the laser energy coming to the skin surface is absorbed by the carbon particles on the surface.
This absorbed energy turns into heat energy.
Thus, the laser energy reaches the epidermis. It is focused on the epidermis called epidermis.

Information about Q-switched laser:
There is a slight feeling of warmth during the procedure, but anesthesia is not required.
Skin cleansing before the procedure. It is necessary to use creams deemed appropriate by the physician after the procedure. It is suitable.
It is necessary to protect from the sun for at least 3 months.
Repeat sessions are required.
Contact with water is not recommended for 24 hours after the procedure.
Dandruff that occurs after the procedure should be allowed to fall off on its own.
