'Theraplay play and family therapy', one of the play-based therapies, is a relationship between parent and child. It is a therapy method that aims to repair attachment and establish a secure bond.

Theraplay is based on interaction; It aims to increase self-esteem, increase self-confidence and make you feel valuable and lovable. At the same time, it is an approach that aims to create a secure attachment and a healthy, strong emotional bond between parent and child or to strengthen the existing relationship.

In Theraplay play and family therapy, the therapist guides the parent and the child in a fun, joyful, harmonious and through player interaction; It aims to help parents and children get closer to each other physically and emotionally. This approach focuses on four basic characteristics that exist in the parent-child relationship: Structure, Nurturing, Commitment and Challenge.
