Retinal detachment is diagnosed during eye examination; It is determined by dilating the pupil and examining and scanning the retina layer with special lenses. Eye ultrasound is an imaging method that supports diagnosis. In the treatment of retinal detachment, depending on the condition of the disease and tear; Medical treatment, laser surgery, gas injection into the eye (pneumatic retinopexy), conventional scleral cerclage surgery or pars plane vitrectomy surgery are applied.
