Status, Brand, Money

I guess that a large part of society would want to have these 3 concepts that form the title of my article, at all costs. So let's ask ourselves this question: Why? Why is it so important to have these?

We can say that many beliefs such as luxury, the power to get whatever you want, comfort, happiness, a worry-free future and life idea give rise to all these. But there is a much more important reason. That is, the desire to be someone who is respected, made to feel important and valuable. I explained that mistakes in child-rearing styles, conditional love shown to the child, and lack of respect for the child cause individuals to believe that they will not be worthy of being loved or cared for. However, the most basic need of all of us is unconditional love, respect and belonging.

The child who is raised with conditional love and respect thinks about what these conditions might be in his adult life and looks at society. He sees this: Fame, status, brand, money... People with fame are in a mad flood of love from their fans, everywhere he steps, people give him hands, paws and couch postures, the authority of high-status people and the power to manage people. Just as money can buy anything of material value, when the time comes, it can even buy love and respect, even if it is fake. The mindset is technically not wrong. Because unfortunately, there are people in society who were raised as unhealthy as he was and who believe and respect the power of all these. Indeed, when he has this power, there are people who will satisfy his need to feel important and respected, who will be attracted to power.

Of course, all of these are not just the result of the lack of unconditional love and respect. At the same time, other messages that families give to their children are also effective. For example, to the child who does not want to study, "If you do not study, I will send you to the grocery store, barber, car mechanic as an apprentice and in the future you will work for 2 cents and barely make ends meet", or "If you do not study, you will end up on the streets and remain poor." Threats such as "You will starve" cause children to worry about the future rather than their desire to study. This Instead of working for school success, the child does not hesitate to cheat in order to achieve results with that anxiety.

So, what do you think all these concerns and searches lead people to? In order to get what you want, all kinds of tricks, tricks, cheating, undermining someone, unfair competition, injustice, in short, moving away from the real values that make people human. Because the new values are now status, brand and money. Therefore, the mentality of "any way is acceptable to get what I want" emerges in people. As a result, the person begins to consider every action he takes on the way to his goal as justified, regardless of whether it is ethical or not. He doesn't feel guilt or shame about it. Just like the child who cheats because of his anxiety.

Of course, there are people who act fairly, without violating rights, with their conscience and justice, and who achieve status and financial power without oppressing anyone. We can easily notice them with their tranquility, tranquility, peace, happiness and satisfaction. These people are the same as they were in the past. They don't change. Because their human values and essence have not changed. The people around them respect him not because they are afraid of him, but because they love him. However, there is a big difference between the people in the other group who have not achieved material power or status and those who have achieved it. Until they reach that point, they do not hesitate to establish relationships of interest. Regardless of their human quality, they side with whoever they see has the power and status. When they reach that position, they start to oppress people. Because their values consist of status and materiality.

We talked about 2 types of people. The first are people who have human values but are in a very good situation, and people whose human values have been replaced by power, power and material things. When we compare the two groups, it is not difficult to predict who will have the joy of life, peace and happiness. Because that group continues to exist with its essence. He has real friends and associates around him. He established good relationships with both himself and his environment. He is aware that even if everything is gone one day, his friendships are permanent and they are the real values. The other group is every He lives the day in torment and struggle. He doesn't care how his actions affect the lives of others. He continued to search desperately for the love and respect that he had been searching for since his childhood but could not find, and he found it, even if it was fake. However, he thinks that he will be "nothing" if he loses what he has. Because it has no other value. Its environment is full of people who think like us. Our aim is that as long as we reach out to each other with the awareness of being "us", fulfill our responsibilities towards each other, do not move away from our conscience and strive properly, each of the concepts I have listed above will develop spontaneously and in healthy ways. One must realize that it can be achieved. That's real power. When we reach those concepts in a healthy way, we begin to become more useful individuals to people and society as we experience real maturation. This brings us to the love and respect we seek so much. It allows us to get satisfaction from life.
