As it should be after every surgical operation, there are the care that should be applied after breast augmentation surgery and there are issues that we want our patients to pay attention to. When the patient leaves the breast augmentation surgery, he may complain of chest pain, difficulty in breathing, and severe pressure on the chest due to the change in the anatomy of the muscles. .After the surgery, we want him not to use his arms much, not to carry weight and to lie flat for about 3-4 days. Sometimes patients may describe back pain after a while due to lying flat. We wear a bandage and put a roller to compress between the two breasts. This is done to minimize the edema and swelling that may occur in the breasts. At the 4th hour after the operation, the patient is fed with a protein-rich diet that will not cause gas and will not strain his stomach, which is spicy and spicy. After taking the patient's regimen He should be mobilized. He can do activities such as removing the need for a washbasin, combing hair and walking. After the surgery, serum and necessary drugs are given in the hospital. Care and follow-up are done. The patient feels more comfortable when he sleeps with two pillows. The next day, the physician sees the patient and makes dressings. He changes the bands. and the patient is discharged with a prescription for antibiotics and painkillers. The patient is asked to rest at home on the first day and not to move too much. However, in certain cases, drains can be placed at the discretion of the physician. The patient will not touch them or take any action unless the directive is given. On the 3rd day, they are removed according to the situation or continue to stand for as long as deemed appropriate. After the 3rd day, the patient can take off his bra and take a bath. dressings will be wet and after the bath, the dressings will be dried with a towel, and if there is a dryer, if there is no cold, the bands will be dried by holding it remotely at normal temperature and the bra will be worn again. If there is a drain, the patient cannot take a bath or touch the operation area with water. A care oil such as olive oil can gently massage the breasts. There are no stitches to be removed, as the stitches that dissolve in the 1st week check. It is recommended to be fed with liquid foods such as stem juice. After the 2nd week, the patient can remove the band-aids in the dressing while under the shower. Patients living abroad can return to their countries. Routine control periods begin for patients living in Turkey. Patients from abroad are expected to visit the clinic when they come to Turkey. The patient will take off his bra for 15 days at night, only in the bathroom during the day, and will wear it for 1 month, 15 days only at night. They can wear a bra or a non-wired bra.
