egos

The word EGO is on everyone's lips these days. Whether they know it or not, everyone has a COMMENT about EGO. They call those who talk too much egoists, and those who say they love themselves. When we are selfish, we "make ego" and when we say "I" too much. So what is EGO really?

Ego, a Latin word, means self, self, self. Ego is not a structure that emerged later, it is our way of perceiving ourselves. However, it is a structure that changes shape with environmental factors. When it changes shape, it naturally changes in the way we perceive ourselves.

If a person uses too many sentences starting with "I..." If he says "I'm a loser", we can talk about an ego problem. (inflated ego and weakened ego) In fact, he feels helpless and pathetic in both cases. In one case, he does this implicitly, first he despises himself, and then to cover up his smallness, he says, "I do this." He/she makes self-praising and elevating sentences such as "I did this, I did this, I studied at these schools, I am successful like this, I am high like this, I have money, my house, my car, my family, I did it, I achieved it..." The aim is; To prove to oneself that one is not actually that small, incompetent and pathetic.

Another group of people with "self-degrading thoughts" also accepts this situation and expresses it openly; He gets into an arabesque situation like "I'm a loser, my turn will never come, I'm unlucky, life has never smiled at me." He constantly complains, always talks tearfully, is full of sadness and anger. Life hits him from one side and the other. and he cannot do anything, he is inadequate, helpless and helpless. The thought systems of these people that diminish themselves and distort reality are so great that "Life is bigger than me" and what can I do in this situation? The idea is well established in their systems and they have fully adopted the role of victim. There is also a defense mechanism used here to cope with the ego problem. The sub-message is 'it's not my inadequacy that everything goes bad, how can I fight against something bigger than me?

Those in the first group build their lives on this proof. They are constantly in competition. on their agenda To make a difference, to earn a lot of money, to live in the most beautiful house, to drive the best car, to wear the best clothes, to get the biggest title, etc. There are thoughts. But when you look at their inner world, there are things in their lives that they enjoy very little.

When you look at this description, you may have come to the conclusion that 'All successful people have inflated ego problems'. Yes, success is nice, but when you can enjoy it... When you can be satisfied...

Butthe 'inflated ego'will never be satisfied, no matter what it has.

And what a shame. Which is useless because if a person does not accept his SELF at the root of his thoughts and does not integrate with his true state of being, he will always see himself as helpless, inadequate and pathetic..
