Under general anesthesia, special solutions are injected into the areas with fat accumulation to dissolve the fat. The fat inside is sucked out with a vacuum device using special apparatus (cannula) with holes at the tip. Although it varies depending on the region, cannulas are inserted into the fat accumulated area through approximately 2-3 holes. The relevant holes are the same size as the cannula diameter, that is, 3-4 millimeters in diameter. The surgery takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. After the surgery, a liposuction corset is applied to the relevant area. Depending on the patient's wishes, the patient can stay in the hospital for 1 night after the surgery or be discharged.

Post-Surgery Recovery
The liposuction corset worn after the surgery is used for 6 weeks. Bruises will appear in the area where the fat is removed and will disappear after approximately 15 days. We will use anti-bruise cream. There will be a general swelling in the area where we removed the fat, which will start to subside after the first month and the skin will be completely settled by the 6th month. After the surgery, we walk for half an hour every day for 6 months, and do a rubbing massage for 10 minutes every day for about 2 months to reduce the swelling of the surgery area. .
Scars Left After the Surgery
There will be a faint scar of 3-4 millimeters where the cannula enters.
Things to Pay Attention to After the Surgery
- Resting at home for about 1 week will be sufficient.
- Using the face lift corset for 6 weeks should not be interrupted.
- Walks and massages should not be interrupted.
- To prevent recurrence of fat accumulation. We need to comply with our diet.
Possible Side Effects After Surgery
Numbness: Regional loss of sensation may occur. It is temporary.
