Preliminary diagnostic methods such as cardiac electrography, echocardiography or stress test are applied to patients presenting with these complaints. In this disease, a definitive diagnosis is made by coronary angiography and the treatment option is determined.
Heart valve diseases: These diseases may be due to congenital causes, as well as rheumatic diseases suffered in childhood, calcification due to old age, and various infections. It can also be seen due to degeneration of the valve. Treatment includes medication and surgery depending on the severity of the disease. The diseased valve can also be repaired surgically or replaced with a prosthetic valve.
Aortic aneurysm disease: As a result of the deterioration in the wall structure of the aortic artery, the diameter of this artery increases to twice the normal value and is called aortic aneurysm. is given. This means ballooning of the aortic artery. Depending on the area of the aorta where the ballooning occurs, the disease can be treated by surgery or endovascular stent placement, that is, by entering from the groin area.
