Who Can It Be Applied To?
It can be applied to healthy boys, girls and adults over the age of five. Most of the ear development is completed around the age of five.
Anesthesia and Surgery
Anesthesia; Ear surgeries can be performed under local, intravenous (sedation) or general anesthesia. The type of anesthesia is determined according to the patient's age, compliance and preference.
The surgery takes approximately one hour in total for both ears.
It is entered through an incision behind the ear and the auricle is shaped with permanent stitches.

We use bandages for two days after the surgery. We support the ear with tennis tape for the next 15 days.
