Wet Type Oriental Boil: A large pimple-like redness occurs where the female sandfly carrying Leishmania parasite sucks blood. There are bumps around it and it grows into a wound in a short time. It is hard and painful. Lymph nodes may enlarge in neighboring areas. It heals in 2-6 months but may leave scars. The rural type, that is, the wet type, progresses faster than the dry type, and the wound it causes tends to be larger. It is more likely to leave a scar.
