DITIZENS IN CHILDREN

Dizziness in children is a problem that often causes families to panic. But there is no need to be alarmed. Because dizziness can be common even in healthy children. Generally, dizziness may occur when the child moves around while playing, or when he or she suddenly stands up from sitting. Apart from all these, dizziness in children may have a serious cause. Therefore, it would be beneficial for children with frequent dizziness to be taken to a specialist. When children experience dizziness, a feeling of light-headedness may be accompanied by it.

However, if they state in their statement that they are spinning around the room or experiencing this feeling when sitting or standing up, this may be a sign of vertigo. This is very difficult for a child to express. Therefore, in order to fully understand the problem, more specific questions should be asked about the symptoms he is experiencing. Because children's expression of dizziness helps the doctor identify the cause of the dizziness. If children report spinning around the room, then causes of dizzy vertigo such as an inner ear infection or Meniere's disease should be considered. If the child feels as if he or she is fainting due to dizziness, this may indicate low blood pressure.

If the child experiences a loss of balance along with dizziness, it may indicate a problem in the inner ear.

Dizziness in children is also migraine. It may occur with problems such as headaches, syncope, and nausea. Especially syncope, or temporary loss of consciousness, can be seen frequently in childhood. This problem usually occurs as a result of low blood pressure. In addition, migraine problems may also occur in situations such as the child trying to hold his breath, excessive breathing, or the child becoming hysterical.
