Our 5 senses, which we have known since primary school, are our means of communication in contact with the outside world. Our lifestyle is shaped by which one is dominant. We act according to what is dominant and make choices accordingly, without realizing it.
When we consciously manage our senses, we increase our awareness in every field.
HOW CAN WE CONSCIOUSLY MANAGE OUR SENSES?
Our senses focused, awake moment by moment, experiencing them and blessing their existence...
Technically, we can do this by remaining aware of what we perceive and the emptiness surrounding it;
Now focus on an object, look at it; Check out its shape, color, curves and all its details. Look at it with eyes you've never looked at before; Go deeper into that object... At the point where you feel it is okay, focus on the space surrounding the object. It surrounds it and creates a background for the object. It literally makes the object exist. After you have thoroughly experienced the space and its relationship with the object, pay attention to an object or a space. An object, a space, an object, a space… Continue this for a while…
Now let's do the same thing with the surrounding sounds; Focus on a sound you hear. Allow yourself to feel it thoroughly in your ears. Distinguish the timbres of the voice; Is it treble, bass, continuous, does it stop and start, etc. When you feel the sound complete within you, focus on the silence surrounding the sound. Allow yourself to experience how the sound you just heard comes into being. Feel the silence with all its being. When you think you have completed it within yourself, listen to the sound you are focusing on and then the silence... Go back and forth between the two situations for a while...
Finally, let's do the same with our sense of touch; Choose an object and touch it… see how it makes you feel when you are there. Is the object smooth or rough, hard or soft, sharp, round, etc. For a more intense experience, you can close your eyes if you wish. Allow yourself to experience that feeling to its fullest… Focus on the sensation now. Not feeling anything... You may find it a little difficult because it is not a situation we are used to. Try it anyway. Try to understand what it would be like not to feel. Now between your feelings and numbness Go back and forth… keep doing this for a while…
Doing this exercise for 15 minutes a day will be a care you spare for yourself.
And 5 senses in your whole life; seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching… feel the emptiness, and the emptiness that is… in all your senses…
You will experience that it makes serious differences in your life..!
