Mini Gastric Bypass
Mini gastric bypass can be performed in a shorter time compared to other bypass operations, so it is more preferred. One anastomosis instead of two. It contains (junction site), its metabolic effects are more obvious and its recycling is easier.
In this surgery performed laparoscopically, first a small pouch in the form of a thin tube is created in the upper part of the stomach. Compared to the round gastric pouch in classical bypass, its rate of expansion is lower over time. Then, a section of the small intestine from the 200th cm is inserted here. In this way, some of the fat and calories consumed are eliminated. Again, unlike the classical bypass, meso openings that may cause intestinal knots in the future do not occur here and this risk is lower.
