Ozone Therapy

Ozone(O3) is a 3-atom molecule and is the chemical cousin of O2. Ozone gas; It is obtained in the devices called "Medical Ozone Generator", in an environment where a certain flow rate and 99.9%-100% pure medical oxygen is subjected to high electrical voltage. Within seconds, O3 molecules react with each other or with other atom-molecules and turn into more stable O2 and OX (OZONOID) molecules. Ozone can act as an activator, regenerative, modulator, inhibition in tissues.

MEDICAL EFFECTS OF OZONE

-Antioxidant effect

-Detoxification

-Doping effect

-Analgesic(painkiller) effect

-Oxygenation

-Regeneration

-Antitumoral effect

-Immunomodulator

Chronic oxidative load in diabetes decreases significantly with O3 therapy, microcirculation disorder, incidence of complications and drug consumption decrease. The amount of pain in the legs during rest and walking decreases, leg paresthesias disappear, the skin structure improves.

O3 acts as a true pain antagonist. Inhibition of the nociceptive (Algesic) system due to oxidative degeneration and activation of the antinociceptive (Analgesic) system occurs. After O3 therapy, the release of endorphins increases, pain stimuli in the thalamus and cortex are blocked.

In a study conducted in patients with lumbar disc herniation, O3 gas was administered by direct injection into the disc and it was seen that the pain of the patients decreased and the treatment was effective
