Ozone and Laser Treatment for Disc Herniation

Herniated disc is one of the most common and important causes of low back pain. A herniated disc occurs when the structure we call the disc between the bones that form our spine is under severe pressure due to activities such as straining, heavy lifting or trauma, and protrudes into the nerve canal as a result of the tearing of the fibers around it. As a result, compression occurs in the nerves passing through the nerve canal and going to our legs.
Due to nerve compression, patients experience; Complaints such as "WAIST PAIN, PAIN IN THE LEGS, NUMBER IN THE LEGS, CONTRACTION AND HARSHNESS IN THE WAIST MUSCLES, DIFFICULTY AND LIMITATION IN WAIST MOVEMENTS" occur.

HERNIATED DISCUSSION TREATMENT
In the treatment of herniated disc, first of all, the compression in the nerves going to the leg should be eliminated and the nerves should be relieved. If the pressure on the nerves is removed, symptoms such as pain, numbness and contraction will disappear in a very short time.
To prevent the recurrence of the herniated disc, treatments can be applied to strengthen the muscles, ligaments and joints in the lumbar region.

OZONE AND LASER TREATMENT FOR HERNIATED DISCUSSION
Both treatments are applied with the same method.

The procedure is performed non-surgically by entering the herniated disc with a needle.
The patient is laid face down under a device that allows instant x-rays to be taken. The procedure is performed under light sedation so that the patient does not feel pain and does not move. The area where the herniation is located is detected with x-ray light and a needle is entered into the disk where the herniation is.
To be sure which area we are in, the disk where the herniation is is viewed with x-rays from different angles. After making sure that we are in the right place, OZONE or LASER is applied into the disc with the help of a needle. As a result, the herniated part of the disc that puts pressure on the nerve shrinks and is pulled into the disc. Thus, the pressure on the nerve is eliminated and symptoms such as pain, numbness and contraction increase. k disappears in a short time. Our patient can go home within two hours after the procedure and can start working the next day if it is not a very heavy task.

In patients receiving Ozone and Laser treatment, since the procedure is performed with only a needle, there is no surgical scar and the surrounding tissues are not damaged. The patient can return home after two hours and start work the next day, unless he is doing a very heavy job.
