Acne (pimple) is most commonly seen in adolescents and manifests itself as comedones (white and black spots under the skin), papulopustular (appearance of white inflammation raised from the red skin) It is a skin disease that manifests itself as nodules or cysts (hard and painful or painless solids in the skin). Acne most often occurs on the face, back, chest, arms, shoulders and hips. It is so common, acne affects approximately 85% of young people. The first appearance of acne may occur between the ages of 10-17 in girls and 14-19 in boys. However, acne complaints may occur at the age of 25 or older. Acne is more severe in men than in women. Most people with severe acne have familial traits.
Causes of Acne Formation
Sebaceous glands are located in a channel called a follicle in the skin, which also contains hair follicles. It opens and reaches the skin surface through the pores. The cells lining the surroundings of this channel are called keratinocytes. Factors that cause acne result from abnormal changes within the follicle.

Acne has no connection with food, theoretically.
The Course of Acne
Acne often disappears on its own until the early twenties. But it can continue until the forties. Exacerbations occur in winter and with the onset of menstruation. While healing, scars may remain.
