Mycosis Fungoides (MF)

It is T-cell lymphoma of the skin. In the treatment of the disease, the stage of the disease, clinical findings, age and general condition of the patient are important. Initial symptoms and histological diagnosis may take a long time, and recurrent biopsies are usually required.

What is Mycosis Fungoides?

Our aim in treatment is to reduce the tumor burden, regress in symptoms, and improve the quality of life. In some cases, the goal may be complete recovery.
Ten-year recovery periods are reported at the rate of 30-50% in stage IA and 5-10% in stage IB-IIA. Compared to other aggressive tumors, even if full recovery is not achieved in MF, keeping the disease under control, preventing infection, and preventing systemic treatment side effects can be considered as a good prognosis.
