Non-surgical Rhinoplasty is a nasal restoration procedure performed by lifting the nasal tip and straightening the nasal root by injecting various ready-made filling materials, which can be applied simply and easily under local anesthesia, without making any incisions on the nasal skin, bones and cartilages. Of course, choosing the right patient is very important! It is impossible to please most people with nose problems with this procedure. The chance of success is quite low in people with a very large nose curve and a pronounced arch height.
This method is especially successful in solving problems that occur after nose surgeries, which we call "revision (secondary) rhinoplasty". A study has shown that the number of secondary nose surgeries has decreased significantly as this procedure has become widespread. As in every transaction, experience is important. We prefer fillers containing hyaluronic acid, with an average permanence of 1 year and a wide safety margin. There is a high probability of problems with permanent fillings, so we do not recommend it.
If the patient is not satisfied with the work done, we also have the chance to simply re-dissolve the fillings containing hyaluronic acid, which is another advantage. This option is not available for permanent fillings. Another issue is that there is a risk of accidental injection into the vein when filling. It is very important that it is performed by an experienced plastic surgeon who is familiar with nose anatomy and aesthetics!! Otherwise, undesirable results may occur.
With the developing technology and experience, we can now perform aesthetic nose surgeries that are more painless, bruising-free, easier, and sometimes can be sent home on the same day. Surgery is the gold standard for an effective and beautiful result, but sometimes fillers can work well enough. No surgery stress, no hospitalization, no swelling, then you can continue your life where you left off.
As a result, "non-surgical rhinoplasty" is not a lie. Do it to the right person, by the right doctor, at the right level. With the right fillings, miracles can be created in a short time.
