Before starting toilet training, you should evaluate the signs that show that your angel is ready for this. Because a child who is not ready is likely to fail.
There are symptoms that show that the child is physically, mentally and psychosocially ready.
Physical symptoms; He should be able to get up dry, stay dry for more than 2 hours during the day, reduce the number of wet diapers, have regular bowel movements, be able to do movements such as sitting, squatting and walking comfortably, and be able to distinguish between wet and dry.
Mental symptoms; Being able to express that one is stuck, being able to do what is said, being aware of the need to poop or pee.
Psychosocial symptoms; Being eager to imitate family members, being afraid of parents. It is the presence of behaviors such as willingness to please, not being able to tolerate poopy or wet diapers, being willing to sit on the toilet for 5-10 minutes, wondering how older children poop.
If your angel has these symptoms and he is 24 months old, that is, 2 months old. If he/she is over the age of 3, you can easily start education when he/she is healthy and happy.
What should never be forgotten is "Every child's development is different".
