This may be true if you believe your child has hearing loss. The following questions will help you determine this. Please read them all carefully. Determine the factors that apply to you, your family, and your child.
Symptoms of Hearing Loss:
- If the mother has had scarlet fever, a cold, or a viral infection.
- If the mother has consumed alcoholic beverages,
If one or more people in the family have permanent hearing loss that occurs in the early stages of life
Newborn
(From birth to the first 28th day);
- Birth weight below 1500 grams
- Percentage abnormal appearance,
- Congenital jaundice and exchange transfusion
- Staying in the pediatric intensive care unit for more than five days
- Receiving an intravenous antibiotic
- Having had meningitis
Infant (from 9 days to 2 years old) ;
- An intravenous injection Having taken antibiotics
- Having had meningitis
- Having suffered a severe skull fracture with or without bleeding from the ear
- Recurrent ear infections lasting more than three months with fluid coming from the ear Having had neurological disorders
- Having neurological disorders
