Function of Estrogen Hormone in the Body

The term estrogen hormone essentially refers to a group of hormones with more than one similar chemical structure. Estrogens are mainly produced in the ovaries and are the internal genital organs that regulate the sexual characteristics of women (voice, breast, genital area, armpit hair, hair and other body hair; the structure, distribution and change in women, menstruation and menstrual regularity, and fertility). They are hormones that shape the structure of the ovaries, uterus and external genital organs, and ensure the formation and development of the skin, skeleton, muscle and fat tissues differently than in men, by affecting the distribution and structure of the skin, skeleton, muscle and fat tissues.

Estrogen is the destruction of bones in the body during the continuous cycle of construction and destruction. It prevents bone loss resulting in osteoporosis (bone melting) and has a role in regulating body temperature.

Although it has not yet been definitively accepted, many studies have shown that it prevents or delays atherosclerosis (arteriosclerosis), hypertension, and regulates the life processes of cells in women.

For these reasons, it is claimed that estrogens are effective in women living longer than men.
