Septum deviation, its treatment is surgery. It is a disease that can be diagnosed. Curvatures in the bone and cartilage structures in the midline of the nose can be corrected surgically. This surgery is called septoplasty. Septoplasty surgery can be performed by either completely anesthetizing the patient or by anesthetizing the patient locally. After the operation, which takes 30-45 minutes under normal conditions, tampons or simple, small tampons are placed. Long cloth tampons in the form of strips placed inside the nose in previous years are no longer used. For this reason, septoplasty surgeries are not as difficult and painful as they used to say.
