FRUIT JUICE INCREASES HYPERACTIVITY

Schools have opened. The way to protect your child from hyperactivity is to prepare a healthy lunch box.

School age is an age where children's growth and development continue rapidly. The foods consumed by the child during this period affect his/her school success, future health problems, and social and psychological status. Studies have found a close connection between the child's nutritional pattern and hyperactivity, which is a very common behavioral disorder. Nowadays, hyperactivity, which many parents can detect in their children with symptoms such as distractibility, a personality prone to snapping, getting easily overwhelmed while listening to the lesson, and not being able to sit still, is among the disorders affected by nutritional disorders.

Studies have shown that the colorants, preservatives in fruit juices, studies have shown that sweeteners cause hyperactivity and that young children are more affected by these additives. For this reason, children should stay away from ready-made fruit juices whenever possible. At the same time, studies have shown that sugary foods and drinks trigger hyperactivity. Even though fruit juices seem innocent, they are among the drinks with high sugar content. It would be better to include fresh fruit, milk and ayran in school children's lunch boxes instead of ready-made fruit juices.

The foods consumed by children, especially hyperactive children, should be checked regularly. It should be noted which foods cause abnormal behavior after consumption. Empty energy sources, foods and drinks made with additives, and foods and drinks containing high sugar should be avoided as much as possible. Instead, attention should be paid to an adequate and balanced diet by focusing on natural foods.
