New Year's Nutrition

The most important conditions for a healthy and balanced diet are to eat at regular intervals and little by little and often. We should pay attention to consuming menus of similar volumes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, without overloading on one meal throughout the day.

The meals we serve on New Year's Eve should be balanced and suitable for adequate nutrition. Staying hungry during the day and not eating regularly, especially considering that you will consume too much food in the evening, is one of the biggest mistakes you can make. It is necessary to take all meals regularly and adequately, starting from the morning, so that our metabolism does not slow down and digestive activities continue until dinner.

We should choose less fatty and easily digestible foods for New Year's dinner. Meats with lots of fat and sauce are foods that are difficult to digest. If our main meal on New Year's Eve is going to be meat, we should prefer a meat dish prepared with vegetables, grilled, boiled or baked. We can start the meal with some kind of soup and consume our main meal by supplementing it with salads prepared from raw vegetables.

Desserts on New Year's Eve; Those with milk and fruit should be preferred. Because sherbet dumplings raise and lower blood sugar quickly, they do not provide long-term satiety and tire our body too much. Since our digestive system will work harder that evening than every other evening, we should prefer fruit and milk desserts that are easier to digest.

 

From alcoholic beverages; Try to protect our liver by choosing drinks with the lowest alcohol content. Wine is the beverage with the lowest alcohol content and is the most appropriate to choose. Maximum 2 glasses should be consumed.

 

Nuts are very rich in nutrients. It is necessary to be moderate when consuming. If we are going to prepare a nut plate for ourselves, use less hazelnuts, peanuts, walnuts, almonds; Consuming more roasted chickpeas and dried fruits will prevent digestion from becoming more difficult and reduce calorie intake on New Year's Eve.
