Attitudes of Families Becomes Determinant in Treatment

Early diagnosis, behavioral treatments, trainings, and drug use when necessary are important in treatment and follow-up. Parents and teachers also play an important role in treatment. An approach such as "the age goes away when we get older, we became children too" is extremely wrong. On the contrary, a specialist should be consulted as soon as the findings are observed. It is extremely important that the parents observe the child at home, and the educators at school, and that the results of these observations are shared with the expert after the expert opinion is taken. Our children are a part of us. It is our most important duty to accept and support them as they are.
