KIDNEY AND URINARY TRACT STONES
Kidneys are our organs that serve to create urine. Some harmful substances are eliminated from the body through urine. Substances excreted in urine can sometimes cause stone formation. These stones can consist of different substances.
Where do stones occur?
Stones usually form in the kidney. However, although rare, it may occur in the bladder. Kidney stones form and grow silently in one corner of the kidney. Sometimes it moves and enters the urinary tract.
What are the symptoms of the stone?
Pain is the biggest symptom. Bloody urine, urinary tract infections, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fever, chills and chills are symptoms of stones. The above findings also occur in stone disease in children, and in addition, sometimes very insidious stones can only cause developmental delay without any symptoms. Stones must be looked for in insidious urinary tract infections.
What is the treatment?
If the stone passes through the kidney, it causes severe pain, nausea and vomiting. Most patients have to go to emergency rooms. Most of the stones pass with medical treatment. These patients must cooperate with and follow up with the physician. Stones that do not pass are broken by different methods or removed by surgery, depending on their condition.
