Nutrition Science

What is science? This definition, which we hear a lot, is briefly; It is nothing more than an effort to discover, wonder, apply, experience and reach a result. Science, in short, is man's effort to define himself.

We are all a part of infinity, the universe, nature, we have curiosities. We have things we want to ask, we seek answers, we have thoughts. In fact, we need to start thinking and questioning from our body. The human body has been around for centuries; It seeks answers to the questions of who we are, where we came from, why we try to challenge nature with our inventions in order to survive, and why we are afraid. In fact, humans want to discover immortality and live for their pleasures, not for their bodies.

In our evolutionary process, nutrition is at the top of our pleasures.

Our ancestors saw nutrition only as a need and an effort to survive. During our hunting days, we sometimes could not access food for a week, and perhaps some of us died of famine. Then came our gathering times, we ate what we produced, shared it, survived and reproduced as we grew stronger.

So what happened next?

We had access to more food. We discovered the pleasure element of our language. We attributed our pleasure to foods. We now produce food only for our pleasure rather than our needs. We made it artificial and removed it from nature. We produced again, but things developed differently now.

We started eating not to survive and reproduce, but to get sick.

A newborn baby immediately needs its mother's milk. As that baby is fed, its body can access the nutrients it needs, it grows, becomes a child, and steps into adulthood. But as he grows up, a situation emerges that he loses, and that is to feed according to his pleasures, not according to his needs. We are discerning about food, some of us can't give up sweet tastes, some sour tastes and some too salty tastes. We create recipes. This vicious circle continues like this.

The important thing is that we re-embrace the power of nutrition. Understanding that nutrition is the only thing that brought us to the modern age. It is more important than anything else that we know that nutrition is the only thing that makes us stronger without getting sick.
