I've been hearing this from so many people lately... And we have employees who are subjected to such bad treatment, regardless of their age, place or position...
In working life; Unfortunately, we come across many people who swear, throw pens at people's faces, deliberately offend them in public, make immoral epithets, give unnecessary work, make people feel unsuccessful, and disrupt the other party's self-sufficiency and self-worth mechanisms with many other negative behaviors. As a result, the victim usually keeps silent, is afraid to complain to someone and does not share this with anyone. I always hear the same sentences: "You don't know him, no one can deal with him."
"If I complain, what happens if the general manager keeps him?"
"If I respond to him, he will do worse".. .
Could these be an excuse for your avoidance? Or do you really believe that you can move forward by remaining silent and unresponsive?
I think it's time to take action. We call these behaviors in general "mobbing at work", that is, "bullying". Did you know that many employees have recently filed mobbing lawsuits and won? You didn't know because you were experiencing learned helplessness. You find it easier to say, "If I file a lawsuit, who knows how many years it will take?"
Dear victims of mobbing; Know this very well that if you do not take action as soon as possible, the other side will become even stronger and you will continue to eat yourself. You will be dragged into a pointless depression by telling these events and saying "I can't do it anymore, I can't stand it". Is it all worth it? Do you hate yourself that much? "So what do I do?" I can almost hear you say it. Here are a few suggestions for you:
First of all, don't be afraid! The impression you give to the other person will be treated accordingly. When you watch the bully, you will see that he does not actually treat anyone this way except you and people like you.
Collect evidence! Record the immoral sentences spoken to you on a voice recorder. Tomorrow, when the case goes to court, you should have evidence.
Don't be silent and complain! Break prejudices. Don't say nothing will happen to him, no one can stop him. If everyone complains a few times, someone will definitely notice this and take action. Something I remember very well I want to talk about the story. Again, I asked a client who was being mobbed by his manager, "Why don't you share this with anyone?" When I asked, he said, "Absolutely, everyone is behind him." Exactly one week later, he gave the news that the bully had been fired. What do you think happened that he was thrown away? Because someone else couldn't stand it and reported the bully's situation to the higher authority! Let this story be an example for everyone. Be yourself and never, ever give up the fight. Because you are valuable.
