Gums that are swollen and red due to inflammation (a type of gingival edema) cause attention to be directed to the gums. The edematous and thickened gingival margin causes shadow formation at the bottom 1/3 of the teeth. Due to these shadows, tooth colors are 1-2 tones darker than they are. They appear. If there is not enough and healthy gum tissue, it is not possible to talk about aesthetics in the prepared porcelain. If there is loss of papilla due to gingival recession or missing teeth, it must first be replaced. It is possible to regain the lost tissues with some surgical and prosthetic methods.
