1 – There is a planning valid all over the planet for the follow-up of a pregnant, which we call antenatal follow-up. Pregnancy consists of three periods, each of which is called a three-month treme. Follow-ups also differ according to the trimester.

A check-up should be done once a week until the baby's heartbeat occurs. A test positivity does not prove a normal pregnancy. The test is also positive for an ectopic pregnancy because when the BHCG value exceeds 1000, the gestational sac is also visible on ultrasound.

It is 1 trimester after the heartbeat is taken. It is preferred to follow up every 15 days until it is completed (3 months). Since the mother does not feel the baby's movements, a check-up every 2 weeks is the right approach in order not to miss a possible loss.

Once a month is sufficient until the end of the 2nd trimester. This period is called the honeymoon period of pregnancy. It is a comfortable period because the mother both feels the baby movements and does not cause mechanical difficulties to the expectant mother as the abdomen does not grow very much.

In the 3rd trimester, it is good and correct to have an examination and ultrasound every fortnight from 32 weeks onwards and once a week from 36 weeks.

Down Syndrome screening test, which we call the double test for the baby, can be done between 11-14 weeks.

From the 10th week onwards, with a sensitivity of 99.93%, the free test that diagnoses all genetic diseases can be performed. DNA testing can also be done.

16.-20. Between weeks, triple or quadruple testing is done. In the triple test, the blood level of 3 hormones is checked, while in the quadruple test, the blood level of an additional fourth substance, called suicide A, is checked.
