If the skin disease we call acne or acne starts in adolescence and is not treated, it can sometimes last a lifetime. is the disease. It is usually seen in people with a genetic predisposition to having large congenital sebaceous glands. It can be very severe in some people. If the treatment is delayed or takes a long time, it heals by leaving scars in the form of pits. Acne treatment should be based on the cause. It can heal without leaving a scar with treatment directed at the cause. There are many medications used in the treatment of acne. It is treated with oral medications and topical (applied externally) cream-lotion type products. In addition to medication, treatment can be done by using different applications. If acne is not treated or if the treatment lasts for a long time, acne leaves scars in the form of pits. If the scars are left alone, they will never disappear and become even more obvious. Moles (nevus) can be congenital or acquired. If moles are traumatized or exposed to sunlight, the possibility of skin cancer increases. Suspicious ones should be monitored at regular intervals and either removed completely or biopsied. In the formations called lentigo, it is caused by the influence of the sun and is not a mole, but it is thought to be a mole. Lentigos can also become malignant over time. It should be treated early. Lentigos are treated to prevent their transformation into malignancy.
Hair Loss
Hair loss is a cosmetic problem that both women and men complain about. It is more likely to be seen in men who have a genetic predisposition to hair loss due to hormonal reasons, that is, depending on the male hormone, that is, those who have a family history of hair loss. Hair loss is seen in women both genetically and in conditions such as thyroid and anemia. Successful results can be obtained in women if the cause is found by requesting the necessary tests as a result of a good anamnesis and examination, and treatment is directed towards the cause. Treatment without finding the cause will not be successful.
