Use of Birth Control Pills

Birth control pills are continued regularly after they are started to be used; it is not appropriate to discontinue use for a reason such as "resting the body" without any necessity. An unwanted pregnancy may occur during the break period.

If vomiting or severe diarrhea occurs within 2 hours after taking the birth control pill, an additional protection method such as condom should be used.

After taking the birth control pill. You can decide when to buy it yourself. It would be appropriate to choose the time when you are least likely to forget. Most women take the pills after breakfast or just before going to bed at night.

There are two different ways to use birth control pills

When the 21 tablets in one box are finished, the next box is started 7 days later. Menstrual bleeding usually occurs in the 7-day interim period.

If 21-day pills are used, the interval should not be longer than 7 days. The next box must be taken after a seven-day break, regardless of the start or end of menstrual bleeding.

BIRTH CONTROL PILLS USED CONTINUOUSLY FOR 28 DAYS

In boxes suitable for continuous use containing 28 tablets, take a break when you finish the box. Before giving it, you need to start the next day with the other box. Menstrual bleeding usually occurs while taking the last non-hormonal pills.

Each new birth control pill pack will start on the same day of the week.

You will usually have your period while taking the last 4 white pills.
