The dentition period in babies begins between the first 3-6 months, and the appearance of all milk teeth in the mouth is completed by the age of 2.5-3. Teething, which occurs from time to time, can be quite troublesome and tiring for both the little ones and their families.
Teething Symptoms
-Increased salivation
-Biting the hands
-Mild fever and sometimes accompanied by diarrhea
-Sleep disorders
-Refusal to feed
-General restlessness state
One or more of these symptoms may be seen together. If the fever is above 37 degrees and accompanied by diarrhea, a pediatrician should definitely be consulted. During this period, babies are more vulnerable to infective diseases because their immune system is weakened. If there is another accompanying disease, it should be treated.
I would like to give some practical advice to families during teething periods:
-Wash your hands and massage your baby's teeth. do
-Give him cold fruits to bite...
-Make him bite the teethers that you have kept in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
-You can use gels that relieve the pain of the gums.
-If there is a lot of pain, you can give a paracetamol-derived painkiller.
-A warm bath will both relax and delight our little one.
-Cold yoghurt, cold fruit purees. or you can feed him ice cream.
-Make sure he consumes plenty of fluids.
-Do not insist on continuing his normal diet during this period. You can spend this period with follow-on food, fruit purees and biscuits. There will be a halt in weight gain. This is a normal situation...
-Give him plush toys that he can chew...
